The BTCC turbocharger supplier's latest high performance forced induction release is specifically aimed at customers looking to build a performance engine, but lack the budget to specify a ball bearing turbocharger.

Owen's latest new product release for performance enthusiasts is a Garrett T2860 internal wastegate T25/28 turbocharger which incorporates proven, reliable technologies including:-

  • 0.8 Bar actuator
  • 360 degree thrust bearing
  • 0.86 A/R turbine housing
  • 0.60 A/R compressor cover
  • GT28 NS111 turbine wheel

Garrett's use of the same GT28 NS111 turbine wheel casting as the GT2860 ball bearing turbocharger ensures great levels of transient boost response and outright performance. Ideally suited to engines of 2.0 - 2.5-litres, the new Garrett T2860 turbocharger is rated to a maximum of 330bhp.
