NEW! Skyline R33-34 twin GT2868 HTA turbos

05 April 2011

Owen's is pleased to unveil a set of GT2868 HTA turbochargers for the R33 / R34 versions of the mighty Nissan Skyline GT-R.Designed to replace the failure prone standard ceramic twin turbochargers by combining a direct bolt on replacement package with the very latest developments in turbo technology, the Owen's GT2868 HTA units feature the following technical advantages:-

* Ball bearing centre housing rotational assemblies for the ultimate in transient boost response and outright reliability

* Forge milled billet HTA aluminium compressor wheel, which incorporates an advanced aerodynamic profile for unrivalled spool up and efficiency

* Domed aerodynamic profile compressor nut to maximise compressor inlet charge

Extensive work has been undertaken by Owen Developments on the GT2868 HTA turbo's in order to maximise mid-range performance, yet each unit is capable of producing up to 1.8 bar of boost, with a 1.2 bar maximum continuous recommended.

Given the a/r ratios of the Owen's GT2868 HTA units, each turbocharger is capable of flowing a sufficient volume of air to produce 400 bhp, therefore on the twin turbo Nissan RB26DETT over 700 bhp is readily achievable.

Carrying part number OD-NIS-2868-GTR the new Owen Developments GT2868 HTA turbochargers for the Nissan Skyline R33 / R34 GT-R using the RB26DETT powerplant are available now, priced at £1168.20 each, including VAT @ 20%.
