Owens Special Turbocharger Range
The fully equipped in-house machine shop and fabrication shop enables the production of specialist components to be made quickly; essential with fixed dates of motorsport events. Prototyping and testing combinations are all done in-house and all rotational turbocharger parts are subjected to a number of balancing standards that are performed on our purpose made, high-tolerance machines. Confirmation and testing of the specifications can also be carried out on the vehicle, utilising our 4WD rolling road, again ensuring performance achievements.
Vehicle manufacturers need to work closely with their chosen turbocharger supplier so that both the engine design and the turbocharger sizing become compatible for the vehicles intended use. Here at Owens this critically important combination can be carried out by a team of dedicated specialist engineers, who have the experience and equipment to modify engines and turbochargers to achieve higher performance, whilst considering critical limits such as pressures, stresses and temperatures, together with flows and speeds of a wide range of high tech performance products. As part of the service to our customers, Owens are happy to advise on turbo specifications, expected performance and installation issues with any of our products.Owen Developments has a peerless reputation for producing innovative bespoke turbocharger solutions that are used globally in a wide variety of motorsport disciplines, including WRC, BTCC, European Rallycross and the FIA F2 championship.
